John Rajanayakam is chief operations officer for Apexon India. He is a Senior Technology Development executive with over 25 years of holistic experience both as a provider and user of consulting services. John’s career spans Asia, Middle East, Europe, and the U.S., and is spotlighted by achievements in progressively challenging roles in the support and development of disparate technologies.

John is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Public Manager (CPM), a certified Six Sigma black belt, Six Sigma green belt and certified life coach. He is a best practices, innovation and change champion with a successful track record at the helm of global multi-million dollar projects. John has introduced superior management practices and utilized Six Sigma methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and help organizations achieve bottom line goals. He has also led the design and implementation of sustainable supplier relationship models for Fortune 100 organizations.

John has two Masters degrees and earned his doctorate in organizational leadership with “Leadership sharing among multi-vendor IT project leaders in a multisourcing organizational environment” as his area of research.

John’s interests include mentoring, children’s issues and speaking on diversity at schools and universities. He is a native of Tamil Nadu in south India and married to Christina with one daughter, Nandita.
